I think it's too soon...I hope he clears waivers. But, if I were a rival GM, I'd absolutely put a claim in on him.



Regarding Tucker, that's the right decision. He's been swinging a better bat of late, but in general, has been overmatched at the plate in MLB. I do think he's the SS of the future, but Newman has shown no reason he can't hold down the fort either offensively or defensively.



Tucker needs to be playing everyday, and right now, you can't justify taking Newman's bat out of the lineup.

I hope he clears waivers too, but if I'm a team tanking this season to get a better draft position and maybe save cash for later then I would grab him and just let him pitch and hope he figures it out before next season.
