Been following the Bucs since 1967.

I can now say with certainty that this pitching staff and especially the bullpen is the worst I have witnessed!

The problem with losing is that it discourages people. I gave up when they fell behind two nothing. It sounds as though Brault pitched pretty well after that but I had no thought they could come back.

I moved back to Pittsburgh after more than 20 years away. I won't get cable, and mlb.tv would black me out of Pirate games. So, I've maybe seen two games worth of the Pirates all year when at other people's houses. What a blessing that's turned out to be!

Yesterday, I suggested that the Bucs consider giving Stratton a start with Archer hurting and Williams tanking.

Well, Straton certainly was rocked hard last night. Looks like my kudos to him for pitching better out of the pen for a month plus were unfounded.

Kind of off topic but did anybody see Mike Lange in the booth last night. He did not look good at all and sounded terrible too. Hopefully everything is okay with him but he just does not look like he is in good health at all.

Lange has looked kinda bad for a number of years. Heck he an old fart like me. We are the same age too. Got to meet and talk to him several times when I had Pens season tix in the the 80's and 90's. My tix were very near the steps into the press box and broadcast booth. A great guy who wanted to please his fans.
