Today is free on mlb for all the games but not in Iowa because we get blacked out for 6 teams. Geesh, St Louis is over 7 hours away.

I am surprised that Stallings is not catching Keller tonight. After Keller’s last start I heard a conversation with Stallings, and he spoke about how he and Keller were on the same page during that game. It sounded like Keller let Stallings call the game with no shaking off any pitches. He also said prior to Keller being sent to Indy they had a good discussion regarding the inconsistency which Keller was having. I think in Keller’s situation he needs Stallings as his personal catcher until he puts together several good starts in a row.

Hayes has had 1 hit in each of his last 5 games. But in those games he's only gone 5 for 20 (.250). So it hasn't changed his .249 BA. Shelton has a tendency to give hot hitters a day off but I don't think Hayes has been very hot.

This would be 4 games in 4 nights for Stallings. With Shelton that's a no-no

Keller is leaving no doubt that his 5 shutout innings last week was a fluke. Sometimes the blind squirrel finds a nut.

I was hoping that after his last start Keller would have several starts similar to that one ,giving him much needed confidence.
