I wonder if Klaatu barada nikto would work on Cherington?

Am I to understand that you'd be giving kudos to Cherington if he were signing free agents who you rate as a 1 (the worst players available) just because that would mean he wasn't simply standing by the tracks like a bum watching trains go by?

Agrew with the 1 for Clay.

Doubt that anything will work for Cherington. What a waste.

Cherington claims to be "in on" the Gort negotiations.

Clarifying question for Shedman: do the Mets have points deducted for Robinson Cano's stupidity and attempt to cheat for yet a second time in his career?

I do not know if this fits in here, since this thread is mostly just to bash BC and Nutbag...

Robinson Cano proving he is dumb as a rock by getting caught with horse steroids. He is out for the season.

Perhaps Nutting can reach out to Cano and offer him $100,000 or so (seeing as Cano lost his 2021 salary) and ask that he give Polanco a call and to offer him some advice on how to resurrect his career.

Well, that's one way to save some or all of the $11,000,000 Polanco is owed for 2021. Plus, he won't get salary dumped that way!

No mention of the Angels new GM, Perry Minasian. The Angels franchise has always been an odd one. Forever in the shadow of the Dodgers regardless which name they use.

For me, it's probably the number one franchise for most money spent with the least amount of return. I remember how in the Autry days they tried to buy their way to a championship, never succeeded.

Heck, even for being the home team in "The Naked Gun", the scenes were still shot in Dodger Stadium.

This one really went under the radar, didn't it?

Sounds like the Pirates have had talks about moving 4 of their starting pitching options for next year. Brault is the latest with rumors, joining Musgrove, Kuhl and Williams. Musgrove seems to be the easiest to move, he pitched well and was finally healthy, although it was a short year. Williams seems like he will be non tendered.

Seems like they would move at least two, with Taillon back, plus Ponce and Brubaker.

(if this belongs elsewhere let me know)
