"The Buccos are not one big bat away from contending. Even when they were a playoff team, they operated on the fringe of the free-agent market. In the midst of a rebuild, they might not sign anyone to an MLB deal."

What in earth do we need a GM for if he does not sign anyone to MLB deal? Just save the money and give it to BOB.

To keep up appearances.

Without a GM, people might think that the F.O. doesn't care how the team does. They don't, but no GM makes it even more obvious.

Well, I have been told that Seven Springs is in need of a new Ski Lift and they need a new snow making machine due to climate change.

It hardly snowed last winter so that certainly didn't make it easier on him. Normally I wouldn't care what that would mean to his bottom line but I feel badly for his employees at his resorts, and the workers at outlying businesses, who lost wages because of the lack of snow.

Giants - Vosler(1),Gausman(2)...................................................3

Astros - Gurriel(3).....................................................................3

Marlins - Marte(3)......................................................................3

Yankees - Britton(3)...................................................................3

Cubs - Rizzo(3).......................................................................3

Blue Jays- Dolis(2),Ray(1)..........................................................3

2.5 for the Braves and Smyly.

Maybe Cherington's self-isolating down there in the Dominican.
