I think he secretly thinks Cherington is going to be the king of drafts, and wants him to be a slam dunk number one pick every time :P :P :P

Before the other Off Season thread disappeared, I indicated that I would only score major league acquisitions. However, I asked that if anyone wanted to keep track of minor league acquisitions, they should have at it and I even said that I would have no problem with them using this thread to do so.

If someone out there in cyberspace wants to keep track of draft picks, have at it, and feel free to use this thread to do so, but I still will only score major league acquisitions.

Shed has no use for the draft. He expects BC to trade away players he (Shed) complains at length about for above average veterans. And if he doesn't do it in the first two days, he's an abject failure.

He says he has no use for the draft, but you have never been in a fantasy baseball league with him. Trust me, he keeps a very close eye on "suspects". He just wants you to believe he doesn't.

I mean seriously, if he truly didn't care for minor leaguers, he'd putt out. Major leaguers putt out.

As I said upthread, if someone wants to score draft picks, have at it. Will either of you take up the challenge. You could score the draft picks in this thread. I only want to score major league acquisitions.

The draft is long over...it was back in the summer.

The Pirates draft though, had a nice beat and you can dance to it.

I give it a 7.

Putting out from inside two feet, which his research shows happens about 10 times per round, would add about 100 seconds to each player's round. Multiply that by four golfers in each group means each foursome would take less than seven extra minutes to complete their round. Oh, the humanity.

No, I don't want to take up the challenge. I'll just wait until the drafted players reach the big leagues to see how they do.
