Bucs 2-17 tonight. For only having 6 hits and drawing 6 walks, this is doubly bad because it means they failed multiple times with multiple chances. All three runs were driven in with 2 outs. You don't generate big innings this way.

Never ever got that. And even if your team has a 60 win season they celebrate the few times they do it.

don't they get ice cream after a win?

It’s a “look at me” kind of thing. They want more exposure on TV, the Internet, or social media. And both the antics when a player gets a hit, and the demonstrations after a HR, are really silly to me, especially when that team is getting clobbered.

I like it when we win.
Anything that adds a little pizzaz is OK with me. It's OK for guys to celebrate a teammate doing something good, in my opinion, especially if they've been slumping. Whatever picks them up. Whatever gets fans into it.
I thought that "Z" stuff from yesteryear was silly, but I'm OK with that kind of thing now. I'm not as big a fan of the props these days, but if other fans like it, I suppose I can live with it.
It's sort of like dressing up the cubicle for a little fun. I was never into that, but if it livened up the place, what the hay. Row with the flow.
