If you're willing to let a pitcher give up 4 runs just to get a complete inning, WTF not the starter then?

I just don't get this guy, yet in post game pressers always talking about how the bullpen guys have to pitch so many innings. This was a night numbskull to give them an extra breather

As puzzling as it gets. Everyone knows that the Reds score runs. We've got to shut them down way before it's too late.

I'm not sure that it was well in hand. With the Reds, no lead is safe. With the Pirates.....no lead is safe.
