JMO, but more fun to be optimistic even if stretching realistic expectations. It is a game we like to watch and think and talk about, three things I"m gonna continue to do as long as it amuses me. Lots of us wanted the old guys gone because they were so badly behind on modern trends/teaching, etc. The new guys were brought in to teach, coach , analyze the heck of the players...I think they will be successful , to an extent, with this approach and concentration on defens and better execution...or not...but still baseball and I still want it.

58-104.

666 runs.

It's just for S's&G's. I wouldn't bet my next paycheck on my prediction. Then again, I just might, my next paycheck will be zero dollars.

Didn't see this thread until just now. 56-106. I was going to go with 57 wins, but I see Bobster already has that one. I'll say 600 runs.

This team is going to be putrid. I'll be stunned if they don't lose 100.

They will fail to succeed at losing as much as they want but will still lose a lot.

73-89, 652 runs.

Just pro rate for however long the season ends up actually being.

Assuming a shortened season will be played, I suggest we use the winning percentages indicated by the predictions that are provided. We can also prorate the number of runs if a tiebreaker is needed. For instance if 5/6ths of the games are played, we can take 5/6ths of the total runs predicted as the tiebreaker. If anyone has a better idea, feel free to present it.

I agree that wp is the way to do it. However, just from the experience of running a poll like this, we may have to go out 6 or 7 decimal points on the wp to determine the winner.
