Well, it was the pitcher that fielded the ball, but i guess he was drawn in a smidge after he threw it. You might be on to something there. Don’t run on first contact with a drawn in pitcher

I was watching via game cast at work and "saw" the homer and went back to work. Very happily surprised when I went back and saw the adjustment. Reese certainly didn't seem to think it was a Homer until the signal. Don't know how they let it go that long before changing the call
