Both Anderson and Shreve looked solid in today’s game. Shreve is a non roster player, but if he continues to pitch like he did this afternoon, he may make the bullpen for the beginning of the year.

Anderson went 2 innings so I guess they'll begin to stretch them out now. Crick had a wild pitch so he's in midseason form. Couple hits for Newman. HR for Gonzalez.

Pirates lost 2 balls in the sun. The sun in that park is brutal. At the fantasy camps they used to schedule games there at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. But at the morning game, the sun was blinding coming thru the open area between the stands behind the plate and the press box above. So when you were pitching you couldn't see the ball being thrown back to you from the catcher. So they stopped having the morning game. But in the afternoon, it's blinding at 3B and LF.

David Bednar was solid with his inning. This was his second solid outing this spring. Hoping these bullpen arms can continue this fine pitching.

Anderson was hit hard in the first inning.

It would be shocking if Shreve does not make the team.

Notable that Cruz started in center.

I hate them for putting Craig in RF.

How they just randomly end games is weird.

The Pirate are now 2-2-1. They need 1 more win to match last year's ST total when they were 3-18.
