6'4" 205lbs
Apostel was signed as a raw player out of Curacao in 2015, who had two potential plus tools. He had a strong arm, which allowed him to play third base. He also had tremendous raw power. That power didn't show up in 2016 as a rookie because he rarely made solid contact. The defense was also still raw, which caused him to DH more often than he played third. Apostel broke out in 2017, but it didn't happen until he believed in himself enough to trust everyone who said he had the potential to break out. He started hitting homers a month into the season, then pitchers stopped throwing him strikes and talking those walks helped him become a more patient hitter who didn't have a swing-first mentality. Apostel has added 28 pounds to his 6' 4" frame since signing and could tap into even more power, making him a prospect to watch in 2018. He also improved on the defensive side, which should help him stick at third base.

17 errors in 35 games at 3b this year, so the defense actually showing a little worse and off the charts bad. 6'4" and an atrocious glove like that, he's gotta be a 1bman or corner OF if he has any mobility.
