If anyone ever needed to come through at that moment it was Tommy Pham. I don’t know of anyone getting off to a worse start and it had to feel awful to have your home town fans boo you at the opener during introductions. Booing the players at the opener was chicken sh..

I agree JR. Even though I believe the bucs shouldn't have signed him, he
didn't deserve to be booed after only 7 games. Shelton, yes, Pham no

Could be worse, guys. Bucs have a better record than Colorado,
White Sox ( both who lost over 100 last year) and the Braves (which
we know won't continue) :lol: :lol:

I think the people were actually booing Cherington through Pham for signing him and doing nothing else in the offseason. I don’t know what the fans were thinking, though. Bob Nutting said they worked hard all offseason to build a championship club.
