If I was Harrington I'd shoot myself out of frustration of the talent and lineup GMBC and Shelty have put out there today.

Let's Go Bucs
Re: Official Game Thread - 4/1 - Bucs @ Rays
It's a weak lineup, but there isn't much they could do to make a better one. Endy had hit first hit last night, a hard hit double. So naturally, he must go to the bench instead of building on that good AB. That how imbecile Shelton manages. But other than Endy (.083) or Cutch (.182), there's not much else to do.
Don't be disgruntled. Be gruntled.

I had to look it up, while a career infielder, Valdez's appearance at first yesterday was just the tenth in his professional career.Bobster wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 9:11 pm It's a weak lineup, but there isn't much they could do to make a better one. he does have 18 professional innings at short and one at catcher if anyone wanted to know.

While this is unquestionably a weak starting line-up, with no one on the major league roster who can make it better, what makes it worse is that the minor league teams are filled with guys just like them. After this season, we’ll be starting all over again, as everyone will be fired. Nutting will reduce payroll to under $40 million for the next few years and we’ll have even less hope than we do now, if that’s possible.

It’s like yesterday’s game has resumed. Bucs go down in order in the first, with two guys striking out. Rays coming to bat.

Can't see how the Bucs can win this game.

He never looked comfortable on the mound. 2-0 TB.
This is a very bad team.

Not a very auspicious beginning!
Re: Official Game Thread - 4/1 - Bucs @ Rays
Not a good beginning for the young Mr. Harrington. His first pitch was hit for a single. The rest of the inning was no better as he walked a pair, gave up two doubles, and allowed an insurmountable three runs to score. Cruz made another error. So good to see him improving with each game.
