I am surprised that the Press Release from the Pirates states Yorke will be sent to Indy. Bring him up, and play second base while Nick G. Is out.

I read a think somewhere saying that they won't officially assign him until after the deadline tomorrow. I guess that way they can bring him here if there's still a spot? I don't know.

The feeling I have about Yorke is that he is younger and on track to replace Gonzales next year.

Here's the link about the trade from MLBtraderumors.

Glad to read no one going off kilter about this trade, like I'm reading on Facebook. It's a laugh. I had to ask a couple of people "When's the last time you said anything about Nick Yorke?

I hope Priester does well. Of course if he does, everyone will be saying how they knew all along how good he'd be, except when they were calling him hot garbage. You know, the old Yinzer double speak.

Seems like a meh trade, neither good nor bad. Having either guy doesn’t do anything for me regarding the future of the club. In the end, we still need a couple outfield bats.

Priester has shown very little. I'm surprised they got a decent prospect for him.

I expected something to be done to help this year's team. So far that hasn't happened.

There are some who would say that sending Priester to Boston improved the Pirates.
