And a shout out to the Lithuaniam Legend, Dovydos Neverauskas, who had the worst ERA (7.11) and worst WHIP (1.789) of all Pirates who pitched at least 9 innings.

Also Polanco was so consistently bad; so consistently a non-factor that it rarely stood out.

They were ALL consistently bad.



OK. All except Hayes.



We failed to win a third of games. It wasnt just because of Polanco.

Nobody said it was just because of Polanco. The issue was about him rarely getting recognized as GOG despite his dismal performance. I think he was consistently bad and expectations were low. So there rarely seemed to be a game where they lost due to him.

We will be so much better if we get rid of Polanco and replace him with J.T. Riddle!!!
It was a close battle between them but Polanco outhit Riddle .153 to .149. They both need to aim higher next year and shoot for .160. :D
