How much would Kuechel cost? I don't know how good he is but he is an innings eater and a lefty.

I know that he was given chances but I am not sure why they weren't more patient with him. I just always figured that he would struggle to start his career.

I haven't seen yet, is this a player opt out or a team opt out or both? If it is team opt out for the Padres this isn't a bad deal, if it is only a player opt out then I agree the Padres will regret this.

Anyone like the movie Long Gone, with William Peterson and Virginia Madsen?  I always liked that movie.  But a good list of movies.  Also, if you haven't watched it, the Battered Bastards of Baseball is a pretty good documentary about an independent minor league team.

I appreciate the stories about Blass. I enjoy his commentary and he just seems like such a good guy with a positive take on things. I will miss him in the booth.

I also wish Jordy the best also. He was a steady player for teams that brought excitement back to Pirate baseball. I hope he has a great year
