another change (minor one) is the introduction of batting gloves and base running gloves. I don't remember exactly when first batting gloves were used but guessing early 1970's. Anyone remember if Lou Brock used them at end of his career?

I don't think Omar Moreno wore gloves on the basepaths.

When they officially announce the signing of Perez, and Cutch two players will have to be taken off the 40 man roster. One of the players could be Alika Williams, but if they make a trade from some of their surplus infield players he may remain on the roster for depth. I’m scratching my head wonder...
