I went to see Solometo pitch on Friday night. Not a major league fastball. He was 86-88 mph. I suspect his ceiling is Ryan Yarbrough.

Minor Leagues - 2023 Thread
<t>I was at the game in Erie yesterday afternoon. Gonzales' strikeout was not real concerning. Check swing strike, then an outside pitch called, and a check swing for the out. He seemed to be trying to be more aggressive (criticism has been he's been a little patient). He would have had a homerun ha...

Minor Leagues
<t>I watched Cruz last night in Erie and was very impressed. Tough to tell a lot from one game but he is much more athletic than Polanco. Very fast and coordinated. Had three hits and probably could have gone for an extra base in two of them. Made a diving stop in the hole playing short and threw ou...

The #5 prospect for 2020
<t>The scouting reports on Swaggerty have remained positive, with most still maintaining he's a top 100 prospect in the game. Sometimes with these young guys, they take a couple years to adjust. Who knows?<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> Point is, it takes more than just stats when judging high school player...

Who is the #16 prospect for 2019
I'll bite. I voted for Burdi this round. The guys at FanGraphs still insist there's closer upside there, so I don't think you can go wrong this far down the line.

Now I have to learn to pronounce Adeiny Hechavarria
