Brewers/Yellich to sign 9 year $215 million extension

<t>I haven't looked at the details of the deal, but you have to question it a bit.  Yelich is already 28.  He is in his prime.  This contract pays for 2-3 more years of prime production, then maybe another 2-3 of above average production, and 3-5 years of "full decline" production.  Sure, the $24M/y...

who is the #26 prospect for 2020

<t>Nice to see Florez finally getting some love. I've been voting for him for 4 or 5 rounds now. He's a big kid who still has the upside of a TOR starter. Fangraphs has him quite a bit higher (#18, I think). His BB% is too high and K% a little low, and yet he still has the potential to be a more imp...

FanGraphs Top 42 Pirate Prospects

Interesting that Mojica is listed as lowly as he is and that he’s listed as a first baseman. Though they do seem to put the lower level guys toward the bottom.

Major changes ahead for MLB playoffs?

Where do we rank Liover Peguero?

<t>I'm hopeful that Swaggerty will justify his draft position, but so far he hasn't had a season anywhere near what Peguero put up. And Peguero plays a position with a higher defensive premium than Swaggerty. <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> I'll give Priester an advantage for being a young pitcher who perfo...
