A two out walk and single goes for naught for the Rays as Holderman does his job. Would like to see a few insurance runs for us in the 8th. Still 4-2 Bucs.

Holderman on for the 8th. After that tough first inning, Jones settled in and did a great job, giving up just one run over the next six innings on three hits.

I don’t know how much longer they can keep running Suwinski out there. The number of times he strikes out is over the top, especially while hitting just six HRs.

Nice productive inning for the Bucs to get those three runs in.

I think that in this season, he’s more of a thrower than he is a pitcher. He’ll start to move that pendulum the other way as time goes on. I just hope he does before he’s traded.

The Rays getting just one run out of that mess is actually a victory for us. The tricky part now is for the Bucs to be able to match that run sometime over the next nine innings.

Possum, maybe you should try asking for something more realistic, like peace in the Middle East.
