FYI-Spam

Yesterday we got hit with some spam. Most of it in the Off Topic forum. Somehow our registration setting got changed to allow anyone immediate access without being approved by the administrators. That was the problem when we first got this site up last year and we fixed it. I don't know how that setting got changed yesterday. But the setting has been fixed and the spammers have been banned and deleted and new users must again be approved before they can join OBN. I guess we'll have to periodically check that registration setting to ensure we keep the spammers out.
