You can post to this thread if it is about a team or a certain player on a team and what is happening with that team or player.

No surprise there. (1) Skenes needs to log some innings against AAA hitters. He's going to find it's not as easy as facing college batters. (2) Years of control are very important and if he spends at least 2 weeks in the minors, he can pitch for the Bucs this year without it counting as one of his 6 years before free agency. The Bucs are not serious contenders and losing out on a year of Skenes just to make fans happy by spending the entire season on the roster in a meaningless season wouldn't seem like a good idea 5 or 6 years later when they might be competitive and need him.

I know this has happened before with Priester but he had a very good outing
yesterday at Indy. Six scoreless innings. If he has another good game, and Bailey falters
again, it should be enough to bring Priester back up and give Bailey his walking papers.

Last night, Peguero was five for five while Skenes worked three innings, allowing no runs, one hit, striking out six and walking one.
