Why would any college put a lot of resources towards HS recruitment when they can put it toward getting experienced players to transfer to their school?

I know that they can't make direct contact to players at other schools, but there are ways to get kids to consider another school.

Narduzzi has his hands full fielding a team with half of them being the J.V. team. We will see how the J.V. team responds against a ranked bowl opponent. They may lose the game but it would be great if the score was close.
