Morel singles home a run. So this is what it looks like to have multiple hits in an inning. I wasn’t sure if that was permitted under the current rules. Cubs now with an insurmountable 4-2 lead.

Bellinger with his third hit tonight. Did we even place an exploratory phone call to his agent to see if he’d consider signing here?

Stratton replaces Jones in the 7th. Jones must already be dreaming of one day escaping this place and pitching for a real major league team.
