Re: Official Game Thread - 5/10 - Bucs vs Cubs

This was the 23rd game in a row where the Pirates scored in 2 or fewer innings.

Bellinger didn't get an RBI for that. Runner was out by a mile at home and Grandal dropped the throw.

Re: Official Game Thread - 5/10 - Bucs vs Cubs

Looked like a terrible strike call on Reynolds with the ball well above the pitch trak box. I'm all for robo ball/strike calls but the box displayed on the screen never moves. A batter can be short or tall, or bat from a crouch or upright position and the box never moves. I replayed that call on Rey...

Re: Random MLB fun facts

In 1927, Lou Gherig had 173 RBI. He batted 60 times AFTER Babe Ruth had cleared the bases. Sounds almost impossible. Sure is amazing. Yankees scored 976 runs that year. the next closest MLB team was Detroit with 845, more than 100 fewer runs. The MLB average was 554. Gehrig's astounding 173 RBI bar...

That was a great moment when he broke record. Lost in Ripken's consecutive game streak is the fact that he also had a stre...

I think they're all just keeping the seat warm for Termarr Johnson really long term anyhow.
Any idea on how Termarr Johnson is doing?
Don't ask. :(
He's currently batting .181 in high-A.
