I thought for sure that Roethlisberger was going to lead us down the field for the winning TD.
Maybe I am making a big thing out of nothing, but I thought it was extremely foolish for Mewelde Moore to fight for those extra yards on that kickoff. If he goes down earlier, it is doubtful that the personal foul would have occurred and, more importantly, we would have had an extra timeout with the 2 minute warning.
Obviously, that might not have accounted for anything, but I think a chance to regroup during the 2 minute warning after that Heath Miller catch would have been extremely helpful. We looked a little lost and disheveled at the end, especially after that Hines Ward catch. We essentially wasted a whole minute on two plays.
You may be right. But the Stillers did not deserve to win this one. The Stillers are the better team. But they mostly did not play like it during the Super Bowl.
