I don't have a Twitter account, so if someone that does could tweet Tim and ask him to move 8 feet to his left in the press box and see what the Pitch F/X guy has Owens' fastball sitting at...I would appreciate it.

Jared Hughes now in for Toona.  All 4 runs given up by Owens in the top of the 2nd were earned.

Nats have batted around.

In another minor league game, that WTM may be interested in, Potomac dropped 8 runs on the Keys in the first inning.  They did it with just three hits, one a grand slam, another a solo blast, six walks and an error.

And now, its 8-7 in the bottom of the first.  The Keys just hit a slam of their own.  Fifteen runs in the first inning and no one can throw strikes.  This might be the Maryland Baseball Confederacy.

End of 5 in Altoona, Harrisburg still winning 5-3.  Senators' pitcher--Malone--has settled in and now has 6 strike outs.

Sens' pitcher--Tom Malone--pulled after giving up a hit with two outs in bottom of the sixth.  Still 5-3 Harrisburg.  Curve bats have gone to sleep.  Malone K's 7 in 5.2.

Miles Durham 2-for-3.

Morris works out of a jam in the top of the 7th.

Gives up a base hit, then an error on 3B Harrison puts two on.  A sac bunt, then a walk, and then the Nats' cleanup hitter with the bases loaded.  Morris fanned him and then got the next guy to line out.

Still 5-3 Hbg. in the bottom of the 7th.

The Curve now channeling their Inner Pirates--Dubee gave up 2 quick runs on a string of singles, then the Benny Hill music cued up when when the infield threw the ball all over Blair County.

Sens still batting in the top of the 8th, now up 10-3.
