The note on the fungo bats was interesting: longer and lighter than typical bats.  I did not know that.

Figures you wouldn't know that.  Only guys like me who have been around since Honus would be aware of what a fungo was for.  You know hitting the ball to the infielders during infield practice, hitting the ball to the outfielders during outfield practice and instruction.  Cause a fungo is lighter it allows the coach to hit ball after ball after ball.  Now that I have given you your lesson in "vintage" baseball you can say "Thanks"   >Cheesy

   Of course the day I post the blog and say hes updating it everyday is the day he decides not to update. Its possible they did nothing due to rain
