Matt Weiters played his first professional game tonight(still going on) and it was against our very own Lynchburg Hillcats and he only walked his first AB before hitting a 2 run homer his 2nd time up and a solo Homer his next AB. Im sure glad we have Daniel Moskos who should be able to give up more homers than Weiter's hits despite the 2 HR head start

I was at that game.  Wieters' second HR is probably still going.

Moskos won't pitch in the series.  I'll bet they didn't want any publicity from him facing Wieters.

Lynchburg, btw, has a really awful team.  It could be the worst Pirate farm team I've ever seen.

And Hickory is likely to be worse.

They definitely look bad on paper, hope something good comes out of both or either of them. I'll be at the Altoona/Trenton games on april 14-15,I like the top of their lineup,Boone/Ford/Corley/Pacheco/Delaney. They should at least score some runs while theyre all healthy but the fact that Bloom and Hankins started games 1 and 2 is just sad.

Cheer up.  There's still Herrera to go.

That's too funny, Omar.  I'm still not sure which excuse for drafting Moskos is better: (1) The Pirates didn't want to draft Wieters because he was too expensive or (2) the Pirates actually LIKED Moskos better than Wieters.
