This is an excellent pickup, yet people continue to waste time whining about Kyle Bloom.

Kyle Bloom is nothing special.  He had success in HWB as an over-aged player against A-ball guys.  His stuff is fringy and will not be missed.

Perhaps he can be a swingman or LOOGY, but that's his ceiling.

I'm sorry to see Bloom go and hope we'll get him back.  I've been following the guy for four years and seen him pitch quite a few times.  Now he's suddenly turned the corner and he's gone.

But is this something to moan about?  Hardly.
