I've heard two excuses so far for his performance last year+. The first was Colburn screwed him up, and the second seems to be a suggestion in that article that he wasn't healthy for a while.
I guess we'll find out. I think if he can't miss any bats during the preseason, they have to send him to Indy to pitch every day. We know how little that 5th starter is used in April, especially if the manager doesn't trust him.
