What has happened to Charles Benoit!

   Coming into this year I'm sure he was considered to have at least an outside shot at becoming a relief prospect,especially since hes a lefty. He did real well at Hickory last year striking out over a batter an inning in 50 games and posting a 2.71 ERA but he was also at least a year too old for the league. This year he has just fallen apart at Lynchburg. He's already allowed a staggering 14 more earned runs than last year in 56 less innings!! I don't think I've ever seen numbers that bad over such a stretch. I would think he needs to right the ship as soon as possible or his career will be over before he knows what happened. He's given up 49 hits in just 23 innings! He's not walking a ton of people so if he's not injured than they need to send him to Bradenton for awhile till he gets himself straightened out

Omar, good post. I thought he might even make it as far as Altoona this year, and now you just have to wonder what's wrong. You just have to change the scenery with this guy.
