Sorry, but I find that a simple case of Lasik surgery being responsible for that kind of outbreak is a little far-fetched.  Like my brother always used to say, "Even the sun shines on a dog's @!# every now and then."

Kotchman didn't have Lasik. 

Kotchman had scar tissue and infections in the oil glands that put the layer of oil/tears on your eyes.  The analogy they used was it what like having a dirty windshield wiper.   The surgeries removed the scar tissue and cleared out the infections.
