5th Star: Going with JR Murphy for the 1-for-2 (our first hit) with a walk and a run scored. He did a nice job of handling Ponce in his first start.
4th Star: Erik Gonzalez flashed the leather and knocked in our first run in the critical 3rd.
3rd Star: Nik Turley earned his first save with a scoreless 7th!
2nd Star: Adam Frazier got off the snide with a 2-for-4 and knocked in our second run in the 3rd.
1st Star: No brainer here - Cody Ponce had a fabulous first start, shutting the Cardinals out through 5 and 2/3rd innings.
Can't remember a day when I doled out 10 stars - I like it!
