Bucs To Introduce A Hall Of Fame Class in 2022

Whenever the Bucs honored Steve Blass in late 2019 there was a comment about inducting him in the future Pirate Hall of Fame. Well COVID shortened the 2020 season, and nothing further was mentioned about it last season. Well it appears this August the Pirates will hold a ceremony to induct some former players into the newly established Pirates Hall of Fame. Former PR person Jim Trdinich has become the new Pirates historian, and he will oversee the Hall, as well as other Pirates history. It will be interesting  to see if  Bucs Hall of Fame players will have their names, numbers etc around areas of PNC Park.
