Played a key role in making the Steelers relevant, and keeping them there for a while.

Sad to learn of his leaving us.  Hope he's giving the business to John Madden.

The Immaculate Reception and Franco Harris were the beginning of what is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sports franchises in the world.

RIP Franco, thank you for the wonderful moments and memories,

Special times, especially when both the Stillers and Buccos gave us reasons to be proud.  Pitt football was very good for a while then, too.

First thought was the same sadness as I experienced when I heard of Willie's passing all those years ago, on the day that PNC opened.

Franco passes a few days from when his most famous feat will be honored.

Shames things happen like that.
